ABC's of Animal Training
Take this one time class to learn all about the positive reinforcement, fear-free, training I provide. Mandatory for all clients (pre-recorded or live available). $75
Dogs are from Pluto
Dogs have their own language. We, as humans, often anthropomorphize our animals. We want to connect with our animals and this is our way to make sense of their communication, body language and emotions. In this class you will learn what your pet is really saying so you can connect in a compassionate way that will strengthen your bond and increase joy. This is available pre-recorded or live. $75
Doggie Vacation
Need a vacation from your dog? Or are you going away and need someone to care for your dog while you are away? What better way to show your dog you care than to have them stay overnight with a dog trainer! Prices start at $75/night. Add on prices for additional dogs or training needed. A one-night overnight trial for $125 is required to assess suitability of the dog(s) in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids, to assess readiness of the dog and ease or difficulty of separating from owner, as well as to practice a shortened, positive experience to ensure boarding is successful in the near future.
Puppy Train
Puppies are amazing little bundles of energy that bring endless joy and laughter. However, they are also sponges for learning at this time. If you don't have the time or the skills to give your puppy a solid foundation I would be honored to be able to train them for you while you are at work or help you with your training skills. There is so much that goes into training. Puppies are trying to figure out what we are saying in our words and body signals. Us humans have to get really clear with our communication about what we want and letting them know that what they did was right. It's a process and I am here to help! Prices starts at $100.
Therapy Dog Training
Do you have a dog who smiles when others pet them? Who lights up people's faces when they are near? Who makes you feel calmer and more at peace just being near them? You may have a potential therapy dog in the making. So many places can benefit from you training your dog to be a therapy dog- schools, libraries, nursing homes, workplaces, etc. Contact me to evaluate your pet's potential and create an individual plan to pass an official therapy dog evaluation through organizations such as Pet Parters, TDI, College Dogs, and more! Prices start at $100.
Service Dog Training
Do you have a disability and think a service dog may be a good fit for your lifestyle? Please contact me to discuss. I am here to help guide you on how to choose a good service dog puppy, provide a solid puppy foundation for the year or two, train tasks specific to your disability and teach you how to pass a public access test. Certifications are not required for service dog training but knowing that your dog can perform tasks to aide you in a calm, focused manner in public with various distractions is comforting for your well-being and demonstrates compassionate care for your animal. Prices start at $100.
